Hey everyone!
Welcome to another technique post. I absolutely love doing these as it allows you to try so many new things and create exciting things!
In tonights post I will be showing you a very quick way of creating a watercolour-esque picture.
You could use this technique for making cards or even creating some beautiful pictures to go up on your wall!
If you want to find out how to do this then just keep reading.
Steps:
1) You will first need to stamp your image with clear embossing ink then heat emboss with some white embossing powder. I would recommend doing this with either watercolour paper or fairly thick cardstock
2) Rub some ink and a stamp block and use an aqua pen to colour in your image. Where you have embossed should resist the ink
You could try to create an ombre effect once you become more confident!
3) I cut out a frame to put around my image to make it into a picture. I could even use it as a tag for a present
It's so simple and easy to do yet it creates this amazing effect that looks so detailed!
Be sure to give it a try and see what kinds of things you come up. We would love to see them.
Happy crafting!
