Hi everyone!
I am terribly sorry about not posting last week but I was extremely ill!
I wanted to put up an extra quick post though to make up for it.
One of my favourite things to do is watch planner videos on youtube - plan with me, planner updates, sticker hauls - you name it! I thought it would be fun to do a planner update myself and show you how my spreads have been looking since I changed up my self style drastically in August.
If you want to see my original review then check out this post here and past spreads then check out this post here.
Before I even get into the spread I just want to say how much I am looking this planner! Planner in general as a matter of fact. I now own three different ones. And I can't help but lust after the Inkwell Press after seeing Cori @ The Reset Girl use it so much.
I use my monthly spread to track post going up on the Sukilu Crafts blog. I use page flags to pre-plan what post goes up when and write it in with pen once it has gone up. It such an easy method and works so well for me and Susan!
I do make pretty much all of my own stickers - apart from a few bought stickers - and I love doing this. When I say I make my own stickers I search googles for images I like and resize them to what I want. The ombre heart checklists, teardrops, morning/day/night headers, flags and half boxes I make myself. I then print them off on sticker paper and cut them out.
I take no credit for any designs.
You may see some of my spread are similar to other planner girls. I love taking inspiration of other people and using it in my spreads. This was my water melon themed week. I loved this spread so much!
The next one I did was a mint and gold inspired with pops of pink. My parents bought me these super cute puffy stickers so I wanted them to really stand out in a spread.
I love the minions so much! I totally have my daughter to thank for that. I bought a sticker book from my local super market and based my patterns and colours on the book. It was nice using glossy stickers in a spread as I print on matte sticker paper. As you can see the hydrate stickers were not working out for me. At this point my Happy Planner so I had planner on using that for tracking my water consumption.
My pineapple week! Had to be done in August as the colours were perfect for this.
I saw Andrea from Scribble Prints Co. do a pink lemonade theme and it was definitely on my list do one. I was tied between this and a summer theme for my last week in August but pink lemonade won!
Finally to this week. I did a theme based on September colours. I didn't think I would like it as much a I do!
I love my planner so much as decorating it has become like a hobby for me. I love trying out different things about bring creative. It has actually made me really want to journal and scrapbook. I basically want to do everything I see on The Reset Girls youtube channel. I generally watch one of her videos whilst I am planning. Anyone else do that?!
I really hope you enjoyed this quick planner update. Again I am really sorry for missing my post last week. Be sure to check back same time tomorrow night for another post from me!
Thanks so much for checking out my post!
