Santa Gift Card Holder - #24DaysOfBlogmas Day 15

Hey everyone. Can you believe it's day 15 of #blogmas!

I recently saw a tutorial on YouTube that really caught my attention and I really wanted to re-create it. I have been subscribed to Susanne over at SuNN Stampin for quite some time and I love the videos she does. She's so pleasant to watch and does easy to follow fun tutorials which I would highly reccomend for craft lovers! Check out her channel here and watch the video that inspired this post here.

It's a very cute and easy to make gift card holder with a belly band that looks like Santa's belt!

If you want to find out how to make this then just keep reading.

Steps:

1) Cut a piece of red cardstock to 5 1/2" x 6" and a white piece to 4" x 2 1/2". Cut a 1" strip of black card stock, a 1 1/4" square from black card stock and a 1 1/2" square from glitter card stock

2) Score the long side on the red card at 3" and the short at 4 1/2". Remove the small rectangle on the bottom left corner

3) Attach your white piece of card to the larger rectangle without the tab below

4) Put some sticky strip right on the edge of the tab (on the left and right) and stick to the large rectangle above it. You should be able to to slide a gift card into it. Stamp a sentiment on the white piece of card

5) Close your gift card holder and place on top of your 1" black strip. Gently fold over each side and snip off an excess to the overlap slightly in the centre. Make sure it's not too tight so you can easily slide it on and off. Stick your glitter square on your belly band where the two pieces overlap and finally attach your black square on top.

Super easy yet it looks very festive. Be sure to check out Susanne's channel for another way you can make one of these. It's in the same video I linked at the start of this post!

Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss anything! Check back tomorrow at the same time to see more christmas fun!
