What I Got For My Birthday - Haul!

Hi everyone. Hope you're enjoying your Sunday! As today is my birthday I decided to do two post this weekend.

I thought it would be nice to show you what I got for my bithday! I got some lovely crafting presents from my family.

DISCLAIMER: I wanted to put a short disclaimer as I don't want anybody to think I am showing off in any way. I'm incredibly lucky to have a family who bought me these gifts and support my hobby. I personally love seeing what someone has recently purchased or presents they have received as it gives me ideas of what I can buy. This is in no way a sponsored post and the presents I recieved were payed for by my family member. Hope this is okay!

All my gifts are from Stampin Up! and Hobbycraft. I personally love these two crafting shops and buy from these two the most often!

If you would like to see what I got then just keep reading!

I will start with all the items I got from Stampin Up! I will link the website here. When you visit the website you can select your country from the top right hand side drop down bar. I would highly recommend you check it out if you haven't already. Some of the presents I got were in the clearance rack but I will link as many products as I can with the pictures.

Firstly I got this beautiful designer paper in 'Gold Soiree.' I absolutely love this and I think it will be perfect to make a wedding card as it has this pretty flower pattern on it. I think this would also be lovely for christmas, an anniversary and a christening.

The next two things I got were the 1 3/4" Circle Scallop Punch - click here - and the 1 3/8" Circle punch - click here. These punches go perfectly together because if you punch something out with the scallop circle punch then the circle, the circle will fit perfectly in the scallop circle. I'm so exited to use these!

These item is unfortunately discontinued but it's the Blossom Punch, its the matching punch to the Mixed Bunch Stamp set I already had. I love that I can now punch out perfect around each flower, this definitely makes a huge difference to my projects.

Finally from Stampin Up! I got the Petite Petals Stamp set - click here - and the matching Petite Petals Punch - click here. This is the beauty of Stampin Up! Everything matches, the cardstock and ink, the punches and stamp sets. It makes it so much easier to shop!

As I mentioned I love Stampin Up! I would highly recommend placing an order on their site or you can find your local demonstrator by visiting the website.

Next I will show you what I got from Hobbycraft, you can visit their website here. If you are from the  UK I definitely suggest searching for your local store and popping in for a visit. Unfortunately they do not offer international shipping.

Check out their twitter page here

The first thing I got where these Mildor Glitter Paints. I can't find a link for these on the website unfortunately. I can never have enough acrylic paints and I love that these are glittery as oppose to metallic.

I also got two of these mache treasure chests. I wanted something I could decorate for a gift idea for my blog. I was thinking about either doing one for a boy and girl or making something for my two granddaughters. Let me know what you want to see! I think they are so cute and you can make a nice box for someone no matter what age! You can find them here.

I also got some mache letters and mache paper. I got a S and C for Sukilu Crafts and a G for my husbands name. One of my daughters got them for me to I could decorate my crafting desk and make something my husbands art desk. I will do a decoupaging blog post in the next month or so. To see Hobbycrafts mache letter and numbers click here and to see their range of mache paper click here.

The last thing I got was this crafting scrapbook - find it here. I already have one of these and I actually use to store cards that I have made. I glue a small plastic bag on the page then insert my work in there as shown below.

I love doing this as it keeps all my projects together and gives me ideas for what I can do next. Also when I'm making a card for my friends or family to give to someone I can show them some ideas to help them chose!

There you have it! I really hope you enjoyed my post and I've had such a lovely birthday today! Let me know if your birthday as well today so I can wish you a happy birthday!

I can't wait to try out all my new crafting gadgets, I may just have to play around with them a little bit when I finish writing this post! You will definitely be seeing them on my blog very soon!

I've got some exciting things coming up in the next couple of weeks. Make sure you to check back this wednesday where I will be showing you how to create the 'mother of pearl' effect. I've even added my own twist. Stay tuned!

Follow me on TwitterInstagramTumblrFacebook and Pinterest if you aren't already and if you re-make anything use the hashtag #sukilucrafts so I can see it!
